本ポリシーは、AirSoftWare が提供するアプリ「APTimer」（以下「本アプリ」）における情報の取り扱いを定めるものです。 本アプリには iOS 版・Android 版・macOS 版があり、取り扱いが版によって異なります。 該当する版の記載をご確認ください。

1. 本アプリの機能
本アプリは、時間制限のあるフリー Wi-Fi の残り時間を端末上でカウントダウン表示するタイマーです。
2. 取得する情報と利用目的
2.1 位置情報（Wi-Fi ネットワーク情報）全版
- OS の仕様上、接続中の Wi-Fi 名（SSID）を取得するために位置情報の権限が必要です。本アプリが位置情報の権限を用いて取得するのは 接続中 Wi-Fi の SSID のみで、GPS 座標等の地理的な位置を取得・記録することはありません。
- アプリを閉じている間もタイマーを数え続けるため、バックグラウンドでも SSID の確認を行います（「常に許可」を選択した場合）。
- 取得した SSID・タイマー設定・接続履歴（回数）はすべて端末内にのみ保存され、外部サーバーへ送信されません。アプリを削除すると同時に消去されます。
2.2 広告（Google AdMob）Android / macOS のみ
- Android 版・macOS 版は Google AdMob による広告を表示します。広告配信のため、Google が広告 ID 等の識別子や端末情報を取得する場合があります。詳細は Google プライバシーポリシー および AdMob のデータ慣行 をご確認ください。
- iOS 版には広告が含まれておらず、本項は適用されません。広告 SDK・解析 SDK のいずれも組み込んでいません。
2.3 アップデート確認Android のストア外配布版のみ
- Android のストア外配布版（開発版）は、起動時に当社サーバーへ最新バージョン情報を問い合わせます。この際に個人を特定する情報は送信しません。Google Play 版のアップデートは Google Play 経由で行われ、この通信はありません。
- iOS 版はこの仕組みを持たず、本項は適用されません。更新は App Store 経由で行われます。
2.4 インターネット接続の確認全版
- フリー Wi-Fi は、Wi-Fi につながったまま外部への通信だけが遮断されることがあります。これを検知するため、本アプリは
https://www.gstatic.com/generate_204に対して接続確認の通信を行います。 - この通信に利用者を識別する情報は含まれません。通信先は Google が提供する接続確認用のエンドポイントで、当社のサーバーではありません。
3. 第三者提供
当社が取得した情報を第三者に販売・提供することはありません。広告配信に伴う Google のデータ取得は上記 2.2 のとおりです（iOS 版には該当しません）。
4. 児童のプライバシー
本アプリは 13 歳未満の児童を対象としていません。
5. 権限の管理
位置情報の権限は端末の設定からいつでも変更・取り消しできます。取り消した場合、Wi-Fi 名の識別を伴う自動タイマー機能は動作しなくなります。

This policy describes how the app "APTimer" (the "App") by AirSoftWare handles information. The App ships for iOS, Android and macOS, and the handling differs by platform. Please read the rows that apply to your version.

⚠ The iOS version shows no advertising and collects no information that identifies a user.
1. What the App does
The App is an on-device countdown timer for time-limited free Wi-Fi.
2. Data we access and why
2.1 Location (Wi-Fi network information)All platforms
- The OS requires location permission in order to read the name (SSID) of the Wi-Fi network you are connected to. The App uses that permission only to read the SSID; it does not obtain or record GPS coordinates or any geographic position.
- To keep counting while the App is closed, the SSID is also checked in the background (when "Always" is granted).
- The SSID, timer settings and connection counts are stored on the device only and are never sent to any server. They are erased when the App is deleted.
2.2 Advertising (Google AdMob)Android / macOS only
- The Android and macOS versions show ads via Google AdMob. For ad delivery, Google may obtain identifiers such as the advertising ID and device information. See the Google Privacy Policy and how AdMob uses data.
- The iOS version contains no advertising, so this section does not apply to it. No advertising or analytics SDK is bundled.
2.3 Update checkAndroid sideload builds only
- Sideloaded Android builds query our server for the latest version at launch. No personally identifying information is sent. Google Play builds update through Google Play and do not make this request.
- The iOS version has no such mechanism, so this section does not apply to it. Updates are delivered through the App Store.
2.4 Connectivity checkAll platforms
- Free Wi-Fi often stays associated while blocking traffic to the internet. To detect this, the App makes a connectivity request to
https://www.gstatic.com/generate_204. - This request carries no information that identifies a user. The endpoint is Google's connectivity-check endpoint, not a server of ours.
3. Third parties
We never sell or provide collected information to third parties. Google's data collection for ad delivery is as described in 2.2 (which does not apply to iOS).
4. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13.
5. Managing permissions
You can change or revoke the location permission in your device settings at any time. Without it, automatic Wi-Fi-based timers will not work.
